October is the period where annually Arezzo become a polyglot city thanks to the internationals markets. Colour, perfumes and tastes of all Europe, from France to Belgium, from Germany to Spain till all the italian region naturally included Tuscany, sprinkle the first outskirts of Arezzo enstabilishing a fizzy and joyful climate in all the city.
We are inhabitants of Tuscany, always attentive to the taste and the kitchen delicacy, and we love spend a morning to the discovery of new recipe, particular cold cuts, far cheese or of the close Pienza for example; and is so that equipped of good will and in the last years, alas, also of umbrella, we dedicate a sunday morning of holiday for pure relaxation and the palate pleasure.
In these days so much crowded by other tuscan foodie like us the park in Arezzo isn’t easy, so our holiday begins at 9.00 am: ready go and the rush to the stalls starts! Usually we begin a little disorientated, unsure if follow the perfumes or give the way to the things more attracted by the eyes; but we are traditionalist and so consolidated destinations are: the stall of coconut biscuits, the little crepes from Belgium and the stall of the sicilian delicacies.
Arranged on two line on the street border and in the big car park called Eden close to the train station of Arezzo, many stalls populate the international market, everyone with its history and custom. Differente languages today self cross in Tuscany to form a dense joyful pur purr rid! We like make be members of this swarm of people that run here and there bringing in hands bags full of overly sweets and who self linger where the gluttony or the strangeness of the stall attract them. Usually in october the climate is mild in Tuscany and the occasion for visit the city of Arezzo is greedy!
